Office Hours:
Supervisor holds office hours from 5:30pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday
& Thursday.
Treasurer holds office hours 9:00am to 5:00pm on Monday
& Wednesday.
Clerk is typically in the office after 1:30pm during the
week.
All the township officers frequent the office at unscheduled
times
and are available for appointments by arrangement.

Applications for Deferment Of Summer 2004 Taxes: The
Township of Convis is currently accepting applications for summer
2004 tax deferments. To qualify, a household income cannot exceed
$25,000. The applicant must also be 62 years of age or older,
paraplegic, quadriplegic, eligible serviceperson, veteran, widow
or widower, blind, or totally and permanently disabled. Those
that farm agricultural real property may also qualify. Please
call for more information. The deferment applications can be
obtained at the Convis Township Hall, 19500 15 Mile Road, on
Monday's from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or telephone (269) 789-0654 ext.

Hall Rental: We do rent out our township hall for events.
Interested parties should contact Ron Petty (269-763-3283),
our custodian for details and forms.
Hall rental is currently $500 per day + $500 deposit for non-residents,
$50/day for residents. A $200 deposit is required at the time
of
reservation. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance.
Permits: All building, zoning, electrical and mechanical
permits and inspections
are handled by South Central Michigan Construction Code Inspections
(SCMCCI)
